The opportunity

• The primary job function is having the ability to perform all jobs within the plant except for maintenance. Position reports to Shift Supervisor.

The role

• Operator Card machines which fills cans with stock/sliver.  Perform preventative maintenance on machines daily.
• Load full cans of stock onto tugger trailers and transport to spinning frames.  Load empty cans onto trailers and return cans to Drawing.
• Operate spinning frames which places yarn on tubes.  Make sure that frames have adequate supplies such as wax, tubes and cans of sliver.  Help to recycle waste.
• Remove packages from spinning frames and place on pallet for shipping.
• Sweep spinning area to keep free of debris, empty waste hopper.  Help to recycle waste.
