To create and to use a profile on Gildan’s Candidate Portal (“Account”), you need to read and agree to the terms and conditions listed below (the “Terms”) by selecting "I accept" on the Login page.
In the event that these Terms are not agreed upon, no further action is required on your part. In this case, you will not be able to create an Account. You will only be able to submit your application for registration once these Terms have been agreed to.

We ask and encourage you to read Gildan’s Privacy and confidentiality policy. Such Information might include your name, address, resume, cover letter, answers to questions related to the Account creation and application processes, and any other information provided within the documents, materials, and data fields submitted by you while using this website. Subject to the consents you give us here and the intended use of your Information by agreeing to the Terms, all Information provided by you will be treated as confidential.
We operate a global business. By creating an account and using our website, you understand that we may transfer some of the information we gather to another jurisdiction than the one you reside in. In addition to Canada and any of the provinces within Canada, your personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, or stored for any purpose stated in this Policy in the United States or any jurisdiction in which our service providers operate. We have put in place and maintain reasonable and appropriate administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards (such as contractual commitments) in accordance with applicable legal requirements to ensure that your data is adequately protected.
Gildan and its worldwide subsidiaries use digital tools intended to manage job applications in an explorative manner or for the posts to be filed.
You have the right of access, of rectification, of completion, to submit observations about automated decision making, anonymization or de-indexing (if applicable), and of deletion with respect to your personal information according to applicable data privacy laws, which rights can be exercised either through the use of the Account or by contacting [email protected]. You also have rights under applicable data privacy laws, for legitimate reasons, to oppose the processing of your personal information or to withdraw your consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your Information.
You agree to the storage of your Information within Gildan’s systems located in various countries (list of countries here). Your Information is retained by Gildan throughout the duration of your Account being active, and could also be retained for future reference purposes according to our data retention policies or the requirements of applicable data privacy laws.
Failure to provide Information or to answer questions asked throughout the Account creation and job application processes may prevent the completion of your application. Any provision of personal information to us by you is on a voluntary basis, but failure to provide the required documents and accurate Information may prevent the completion of your application.
You agree that you are of required age in the jurisdiction in which you reside and have the legal standing to enter into this agreement.
