The opportunity
The Account Representative will interact directly with customers to promote the brand, provide responses to queries about products and services, and will contribute to the achievement of Gildan’s sales targets by providing quality service to customers. This position sits in the Customer Serice Department, reporting directly to the Manager, Customer Service.
The role
- Process customer orders; including keeping customers informed of delays or early fulfillment and coordinating with related departments to expedite the processing of orders or complaints.
- Communicate and follow-up with customers to answer questions, explain information and address possible complaints.
- Proactively foresee possible delays or complications and plan strategies to avoid or minimize such delays whilst developing and implementing new systems, procedures or working practices to improve customer service efficiency.
- Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure that customers’ backorders are filled timely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems.
- Take end user calls, research, follow up and escalate queries and concerns as required.
- Ensure customers’ orders and servicing requirements are satisfied.
- Locker stock Usage processing.
The requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- At least (3) years’ Customer Service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and goal oriented.
- Team player.
- Reliable.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to act with a sense of urgency.
- Detail oriented.
