The opportunity
The User Experience Analyst will make data-driven design decisions to enhance or optimize the overall user journey and interactivity across all digital touchpoints (app, mobile, web) by proposing and implementing intuitive, user-friendly solutions that meet user needs and business goals. The position sits in the Web Department reporting directly to the Manager, User Experience.
The role
- Conduct user research to understand user essentials, behaviors, and motivations, often involving interviews and surveys.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of UX documentation to support initiatives across digital properties, including user flows, storyboards, user personas, wireframes, prototypes, information architecture, journey maps, and related documentation.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, design partners, and front-end developers to accurately express UX requirements upon execution.
- Enforce established brand standards and UX guidelines that ensure interface designs meet business and user demands. Coordinate usability testing for different project phases, as required.
- Compose visual elements like color schemes, typography, icons, and layout to assemble visually engaging user components or complete user interfaces that are easy to navigate.
The requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Design, Marketing & Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ commercial experience in a similar or relevant position.
- Proficient with UX and UI requirements gathering methodologies, creation tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in usability testing and accessibility standards would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of user interface design standards, including responsive and adaptive design techniques.
- Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail in color theory, typography, and layout.
- Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, entrepreneurial, excellent listening and communication skills.
