Gildan’s New Website for its Printwear Brands
Gildan is excited to share the launch of its new virtual portal for its printwear brands Gildan®, American Apparel®, Comfort Colors®, Anvil® by Gildan®, Alstyle®, and Prim + Preux®. The new website gives easier and more streamlined access to product information for decorators and distributors around the world while providing an enhanced user experience with new features for visitors.
“This is an exciting consolidation of all our apparel brand websites into a single, full-service, and easy-to-navigate platform for our customers,” says Raffael Sarracini, Vice President of IT and E-commerce at Gildan. “Over the years, we’ve built many websites for each of our activewear brands, but in line with Gildan’s Back to Basics strategy, we decided to streamline our approach by putting everything under one roof,” he continues.
Among the new features, the website now gives customers the ability to compare products styles against each other, including, fit, fabric weight, fabric content, and other key attributes. The website also suggests alternative styles options when those selected are currently out of stock, as well as a clear inventory-finding journey to expedite the ultimate order process. All these, among other new features, will allow customers to make the best decision when choosing which product they’ll order next.
“From a digital standpoint, we’ve also included many new AI-powered tools to help our team consistently optimize and update the website to our customers’ needs. In fact, this is only phase one of our launch; we’ll be continuing to push new updates and features as the year goes by,” says Sarracini. “It is our hope that this website becomes a big part of the overall customer experience in the imprintables channel, providing them with a clear and simple connection between our brands and their products.”
