Job Function/Purpose:
Under the direct supervision of a shift supervisor or other specific management team member, this position will elevate the accountabilities of an HBI team member who is considered to be a subject matter expert so as to assist in the supervision of a team or shift work group. This SIT – Temporary will support the increased headcount during peak periods, cover the absence of an assigned supervisor during extended periods of time away from work (i.e., FMLA) and/or lead a team or shift work group during a vacancy that is being recruited and/or onboarded. The time spent as a SIT-Temporary will give supervisory experiential “credit” to an individual who may apply to fill a SIT (non-temporary) or a Supervisor position.
Job Duties for this role include:
Other Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Studies production/distribution processes and creates training documentation and programs to reinforce and/or enhance these processes when needed
• Monitors, records, and reports the success of training programs• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Interprets Company policies and enforces safety regulations
• Plans and assigns work for subordinates
• Conduct training for exempt non-exempt and hourly employees
• Participates in GPS, Lean, and Safety program planning and achievement
• In conjunction with HR leader, counsels employees and documents as appropriate at the various levels of disciplinary process
