The opportunity
The Area Manager supervises the operational flow of the Distribution Certer across multiple shifts in specific departments. Maintains focus o a safe work environment. Maximizes distribution center operations to increase order flow of the Distribution Center across multiple shifts in specific departments. Maintains focus on a safe work environment. Maximizes distribution center operations to increase order flow, inventory accuracy, and processing standards established by Gildan. Utilizes department supervisors, warehouse employees, equipment operator, and team leaders to reach optimization goals. Is accountable for staff performance and constantly seeks ways to improve the process by providing feedback to all levels.
