The function of this job is to produce card sliver for drawing process in a safe and efficient manner.

• Be prepared at shift change to promptly assume job responsibilities. Communicate with off going operator about existing problems.
• Operate 13 Rieter C70 cards safely and in a way to ensure maximum quality and efficiency. Correct machine stops and repair broken sliver by splicing the ends together.
• Clean scrapper blades, bottom rollers under web control, twist out front.
• Waste cans should be emptied as often as necessary.
• Clean between cards and sweep carding area at 9:30, 2:30 and 5:30 or as often as necessary to always maintain good housekeeping.
• All Doors on cards must be closed.
• All plastic covers must be on cards.

Schedule:

• Night Shift
• 7pm-7am
• Every other weekend required
