The opportunity

The Senior Manager, Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining the integrity of finished goods inventories across multiple sites. The Manager leads inventory control processes, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational efficiency, financial accuracy and service performance. This position sits in the Inventory Control Department, reporting to the Vice President, Operations.

 

The role

  • Execute intercompany transfers across sites and legal entities, ensuring accurate documentation, system transactions and financial alignment.
  • Ensure accuracy of finished goods at 3PL (third party logistics) and consignment warehouses. 
  • Perform inventory reconciliations and variance root cause analysis; drive process improvements to prevent recurrence of variances.
  • Oversee physical inventory counts and ensure compliance with internal controls and audit standards.
  • Perform inventory and SOX reporting.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs (standard operating procedures), reviewing periodically to evaluate relevance and efficiency.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, accounting or a related discipline.

  • At least 5 (five) years’ experience in an inventory/finance related environment.
  • At least 3 (three) years’ experience in a managerial role.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
